What are your hobbies?
Golf, hiking, basketball, whatever my kids want to do. Trying to take up fly fishing – we'll see if it sticks.

Currently, usually listening to Wilco or Kings of Leon.
Or, if I am driving with my daughter, she will commandeer the radio – Brandi Carlisle and Gwen Stefani are current favorites.
What was your favorite comic book hero / character? Loved Encyclopedia Brown books.
What would you find in your refrigerator right now? Nothing too interesting. Lots of baby food. Last night’s leftovers. Something for the grill.
If you were a car what kind would you be?
A pickup truck. Always doing work around the house.
What was the last book you read?
Just finished Blood & Thunder by Hampton Sides. It’s a fascinating book about the life of Kit Carson and the American West.
Who do you admire? (and why?)
My wife – she is such a great mom to our kids.
My dad – he grew up dirt poor, youngest of 11 kids and made a great life for himself and our family.
If you could meet anybody who would it be?
Can it be someone dead or alive? Winston Churchill. A bit of a World War II buff. Can you imagine the things he went through and the decisions he had to make?
If you could travel anywhere, where would you go? A friend just returned from a motorcycle trip through Southern Argentina and Chile. Photos were unbelievable.
